For 25 years, Orange County has been home to something extraordinary: a community of voices raised in harmony, celebration, and pride. Today, we're thrilled to introduce the next chapter of our story: VoicesAlive.
One Family, Three Voices
VoicesAlive isn't just a new name, it's an evolution. We're bringing together everything we do under one roof while creating exciting new opportunities for even more voices to join us.
MenAlive – You might know us better as the Orange County Gay Men's Chorus. For a quarter century, we've been the heartbeat of LGBTQ+ choral music in Orange County. We're still here, still singing, and celebrating 25 incredible years in 2026. From intimate community performances to the Hollywood Bowl stage, MenAlive continues to be a space where gay men find their voice, their community, and their joy.
HeartsAlive – Behind every great performance is a community of people who make the magic happen. HeartsAlive is our volunteer program, where supporters of all kinds contribute their time, talents, and hearts to our mission. Whether you're ushering at a concert, prepping food at a rehearsal, or helping with costumes, HeartsAlive is our 5th section, no singing required.
PrideAlive – This is where it gets exciting. PrideAlive will be our new mixed-voice queer chorus, expected to launch later this year. All genders, all identities, one incredible sound. PrideAlive creates space for every queer voice to be heard, celebrated, and uplifted. Details about our debut performance and auditions are coming soon.

We're also thrilled to welcome Gavin Thrasher as our Music Director. Gavin brings fresh energy, artistic vision, and a deep commitment to our mission as we step into this exciting new chapter. Under his leadership, both MenAlive and PrideAlive are poised to reach new heights.

Our auditions aren't about proving you're good enough. They're about getting to know your voice and helping you find where it fits best. We're looking for commitment, enthusiasm, and a willingness to be part of something bigger than yourself. Everything else, we can teach you.

This year is going to be incredible. MenAlive is celebrating 25 years with MenAlive at 25: Find Your Voice in May, and bringing you more spectacular concerts throughout the year. PrideAlive is building something entirely new, with more details coming soon.
