Mike Auchter brought to the MenAlive board a career spanning global automotive manufacturing and factory openings around the world in 2019, and has served as President ever since, guided by a lifelong love of choral music that began long before the boardroom.

Jordon Samson, an elementary school principal, joined the board in 2023 to share his leadership skills and help grow the organization into a performing staple in the Orange County community.

Dan Martin is the Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager for US Bank, Newport Beach Harbor View Office.

James Sousa, a Project Manager in Claims at Mercury Insurance Group, joined the MenAlive Board of Directors in 2024 after first finding a home in the chorus as a singer and volunteer leader.

Ron Leon spent years using his classically trained voice with MenAlive before stepping into a new role supporting the chorus from the boardroom, bringing the same dedication to governance that he once brought to the stage.

Bryan Rogers is a writer, director, and creative producer whose long history with MenAlive, as a board member, volunteer, and show creator, reflects his passion for storytelling, community, and the transformative power of queer performance.

Michael Cornett, a sales manager for a family-owned Napa winery, joined the board in 2026. His husband Jeff, a chorus member and board director, convinced him to use his marketing skills to help lift the chorus’ presence in Orange County.

LeVan Smith  |  Board Member

LeVan Smith, a Senior Software Engineer at Acorns, joined the VoicesAlive board in early 2026 to empower its celebrations of LGBTQIA+ identity in Orange County through technology enablement and engaging content.

Jake Miller is a lead game designer on one of the world's most iconic games and the chorus-nominated board member who has participated in MenAlive since 2017.
