We are exactly one month away from one of the biggest nights on our calendar. On Friday, September 25, MenAlive takes the stage at the Hollywood Bowl for The Concert: A Tribute to ABBA, and this time it means even more. It marks our fifth appearance at this legendary venue, following unforgettable nights in 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2024.
There is nothing quite like walking out under those iconic arches, feeling 17,000 voices join in on "Dancing Queen," and looking out at a hillside full of friends, family, and strangers who become friends by the final encore. If you were with us in 2024, you already know the feeling. If you weren't, this is the year to find out.
What to Expect
MenAlive will sing before The Concert, a full live tribute band bringing ABBA's catalog to life with the kind of energy that turns an amphitheater into a dance floor. Expect the hits that never get old: "Dancing Queen," "Mamma Mia," "Take a Chance on Me," "Voulez-Vous," and more, all performed with the same joy, precision, and heart that our chorus brings to every stage we're lucky enough to stand on.
Under the direction of Artistic Director Gavin Thrasher, our singers have spent months preparing for this exact night. It is choral artistry at full volume, and it is one of the purest expressions of who we are as a chorus. We show up, we sing our hearts out, and we build a little more bridge between our community and everyone in the audience with us.
